Deputy Affordability Lead

Description:Responsibilities include:

• Supports the APM to develop plans, budgets, and schedules to meet program requirements which may include earned value reporting monitors for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Manage the development and execution of affordability ideas generated through various sources (internal & external)
• Maintain IMS and work closely with project leads to actively monitor cost, schedule, risks and opportunities in support of project execution
• Maintain updated cost assessment metrics in terms of NAVAIR commitments and internal targets.
• Support the affordability assessment effort to continuously revise and update acquisition operational and support cost estimates for the 53K program
• Assist APM in analysis and implementation of process improvement solutions, optimize project execution, management communications, and management practices
• Report status of key projects on a regular basis to the Program Management team. Resolve internal management issues and escalate as needed
• Provides direct support of existing affordability tasks and ensuring cross-functional engagement for a successful task implementation to meet budget & schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
