Control Account Manager, CH-53K Dynamics

Description:Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

The Control Account Manager (CAM) has the authority and accountability for specific Control Accounts within the Dynamics Integrated Product Team (IPT). The CAM is responsible for the development, definition, and management of the scope, schedule, and budget for the work contained in their Control Accounts. In addition, the CAM will be introduced to bid & proposal work in support of upgrades to the CH-53K for current and future contracts.

The CAM is part of the Program Management Team and will report directly to the Assistant Program Manager (APM) for their respective IPT as well as receive guidance from the Program Integrator and Deputy Assistant Program Manager (DAPM). The responsibilities of the CAM will include being the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) point of contact for the IPT and providing direction and oversight for the accounts they manage. The CAM will support IPT Schedule Integration and Business Management meetings. This individual acts as the IPT’s representative at program level meetings regarding EVMS and schedule related discussions. This includes preparing presentations and delivering briefings to the NAVAIR customer and internal leadership regarding Control Account performance. In addition, the CAM will develop Control Account variance reports per Sikorsky Planning and Control System Description (SPACS) and program standard work for full criteria EVMS compliance.

As a Control Account Manager, the individual is responsible for monthly and weekly status of IMS activities. This includes reporting on past performance, analysis of EVMS data, projecting future performance, and creating planning for the execution of future scope. This requires contributions to program deliverables such as the monthly CPR and annual Comprehensive EAC (CEAC) processes. The CAM will use the CH-53K Risk and Opportunities process, work with the APM, Deputy APM, Technical Lead, Control Account Managers/Work Package Managers, PP&C, and Finance to develop plans to mitigate cost growth and develop realistic Estimates at Complete (EAC). The CAM must also work with the aforementioned team members to manage schedule, and mitigate schedule variance. This includes the running of weekly task execution meetings within the IPT.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or finance

Ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
Desired Skills:
Earned value experience is a plus

SAP experience is a plus

Experience on an ACAT 1 full criteria program is a plus

Ability to work and integrate with technical team members to understand all aspects of the product being developed/produced and the earned value implications.
