Description:Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is seeking a contracts negotiator to be responsible for performing contract administration & negotiation duties associated with the Combat Rescue Helicopter Programs Air Vehicle, Systems Engineering, Production, and Test teams. The contracts negotiator will be responsible for contract change negotiation and formation, interpreting government acquisition regulations and policies, contract management, contract risk management, interpretation resolution, supporting proposal submission, support delivery of aircraft and other items to the USAF, and other duties as assigned. This includes crafting terms and conditions that appropriately define the work, advising management on contractual rights and the FAR and DFARS, developing negotiation strategies and leading the negotiation team, evaluating and mitigating terms and conditions that add risk, settling disagreements between the contracting parties, and reviewing solicitations and supporting proposal development.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and 10 years of experience or master’s degree from an accredited college and 8 years of experience. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong organizational skills. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Graduate degree and experience in US Government contracting or 10 years of experience. Acquisition certificates, including the CFCM, CPCM, and CCCM.
