Description:The qualified individual must be able to establish effective working relationships and communications with internal and external customers, possess the ability to interpret RFPs and contract terms while developing capture strategies as they relate to risks and opportunities. Lead efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value and the corporation's best interests. Develops capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; teaming suppliers, prices-to-win; and actively drives bid and proposal activities. Has responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit up to and including negotiation. Maintains ongoing interaction with business development.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Desired Skills:
Ability to comprehend financial and business concepts. Handle multiple simultaneous assignments that result in achieving 53K program commitments. Maintain versatility and flexibility in demanding situations. Experience with proposal preparation; coordinating and participating in management reviews; proposal submission; fact-finding and contract negotiations.

Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to learn other software applications as required. Excellent written and oral communication skills and keen attention to detail, be teamwork oriented with excellent organizational skills; and possess strong leadership skills. Able to travel domestically when required to fulfill the responsibility of the position.
