Description:What We’re Doing
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team consists of many small agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is also, responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.
The Work
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated DevOPS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our on-prem hyperconverged cloud infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in cloud computing, DevOPS practices, and a passion for automating administrative tasks using a wide range of technologies including Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
As a DevOPS Cloud engineer on the C2BMC-Global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform. Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell. Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects.

• This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications:
• An Active Final SECRET clearance is needed prior to starting
• Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
• Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
• Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment
Desired Skills:
• A final Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
• Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Scrum Master experience is a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
