As an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) you will join the Classified Cyber Security Team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs to ensure classified information systems meet cyber security requirements and government directives.

Interpret the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) in determining technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements and ensure proper security implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.

Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents.

Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree with 3 years of Information Systems Security experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Information Systems Security experience is required.

Current DOD 8570 IAM Level III security certification (Examples: CISM, GSLC, or CISSP).

Experience in one of the following three areas: National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Department of Defense Special Access Programs (DoD SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.

Experience in at least one of the following: system administration, information assurance, and/or cyber security.
Desired Skills:
The right candidate will be a creative team player, be highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong understanding and previous implementation of STIG Viewer, SCAP, Retina, SPLUNK, Nessus Security Center, and ACAS.

Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex classified networked environments in collaboration with customers, Information Technology (IT) Department and other functional support departments.
