The Product Analyst role is a lead role, instrumental to the success of how we develop and maintain platform infrastructure products at Lockheed Martin to meet the needs of every business area. The PaaS Product Area resides within the Enterprise IT Infrastructure and International (I2) Organization. PaaS Solutions include Kubernetes containers, Application Services, Splunk, F5 and more. PaaS solutions are built to meet global needs and include both Data Center and Edge locations for on-premise and in public cloud.

This Product Analyst role is aligned to the OpenShift Delivery Team within the PaaS Product Area. The Delivery Team utilizes the Scrum Agile framework. The Product Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner from the PaaS Product Team to break down epics into stories, prioritize work, and enable the team to deliver product features. The role is both external facing, understanding customer needs and working with other teams and vendors to achieve synergies, as well as internal facing, ensuring the team has what it needs to provide solutions for our Business Areas.

Product Analyst responsibilities include:
• Writes stories to support the Product Team, articulating what and why
• Works with the Product Team to validate the priorities of the Story backlog
• Ensures Stories have valid Acceptance Criteria and meet the Definition of Ready
• Ensures that Story level testing effectively meets the quality needs of the product
• Works closely with their team to ensure stories are refined and understood before sprint planning
• Accepts or rejects stories as having met Acceptance Criteria by the end of the sprint
• May work stories from the Delivery Team backlog if all Product Analyst duties are complete
• Provide recurring updates (headlights, highlights, watch items, disappointments) in support of organizational status rhythms
• Understand organizational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and how the team backlog aligns
• Actively support and champion IT reinvention transformation activities and DevOps strategies
• Help shape Containers strategy across PaaS. This includes an understanding of customer containers requirements and how current and future product offerings fit into the overall Containers strategy.

This position is full time telecommuting. Occasional travel (1-3 times a year) may be requested.
Basic Qualifications:
• US Citizenship is required for this role
• Demonstrated experience in a lead technical role
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface
• DevOps experience building CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience scripting with Python and BASH
• Familiarity with application containerization, APIs, services
• Working knowledge of computing design and security principles
• Knowledge of common tools such as GitLab and Service Now
• Must have excellent people, communication and troubleshooting skills
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Go, Splunk, Ansible, Helm, Git, CI/CD
• Technical experience with capturing requirements, system design, implementation and test
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer or related degree and prior relevant experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Orchestration and Automation
• Experience with Services (e.g., service mesh, other microservices)
• Demonstrated experience working in teams leveraging methodologies and/or understanding of development concepts
• Experience developing and deploying apps in on-premise environments as well as to the public
• Experience working in a virtual organization
• Individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $125,600 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
