Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Staff-level OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) Functional & Technical SME for a critical SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, and integration of OpenText xECM to serve as our central document and content management solution.
The ideal candidate must hold deep expertise in both the functional configuration of xECM for SAP and technical backend development (ABAP), including scripting to customize document workflows and metadata extraction.

Responsibilities
• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design and hands-on configuration of OpenText xECM (16.x/20.x/22.x/24.x) integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Backend Expertise: Expert-level administration of OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, and OpenText Directory Services (OTDS).
• Technical Customization (ABAP/Scripting): Develop custom ABAP code, function modules, and backend scripts for managing documents, metadata extraction, and workflow automation. DMS and Archivelink Document Extraction, Migration and storing them into OpenText storage solutions. Property Provider configuration/development.
• SAP Integration: Configure Business Workspaces, ArchiveLink, and Smart UI for seamless integration between SAP objects (e.g., Purchase Orders, Invoices) and xECM.
• Lead integration of OpenText with SAP S/4HANA using:
o ArchiveLink
o Extended ECM for SAP
o SAP DMS (as applicable)
• Functional & Technical Specs: Translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints and functional specifications.
• Content Lifecycle Management: Develop and optimize document management processes, version control, and records management, ensuring adherence to compliance policies.
• Lead Content Server setup, including users, groups, permissions, metadata models, and categories
• Define and implement storage architecture, including volume strategy, archiving, backup, and recovery
• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability OpenText landscapes.
• Provide architectural guidance on security, compliance, and retention policies
• Testing & Support: Lead unit testing, integration testing (UAT), and providing post-go-live support.
Basic Qualifications:
• US Citizenship is required for this role
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in OpenText ECM/Content Server with a focus on xECM for SAP.
• Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of ABAP, OScript, Content Server Webreports, and Live Reports.
• Functional Skills: Expertise in configuring xECM Categories, Attributes, and Business Workspaces.
• Backend Scripting: Ability to write custom scripting for advanced scenarios without using OScript if necessary.
• Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of Archive Center, Enterprise Scan, and Document Pipeline.
• Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• OpenText & Content Server
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server architecture
- Experience with:
o Content Server installation and configuration
o Administration (users, roles, permissions, security models)
o Metadata, categories, workflows, and content modeling
- Performance tuning, sizing, and scalability planning.

• Storage & Infrastructure
- Experience designing storage strategies for OpenText:
o File system and/or cloud storage (RISE/AWS where applicable)
- Knowledge of:
o Volume management
o Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
o Archiving vs active content strategy
• SAP Integration

- Strong experience integrating OpenText with SAP using:
o ArchiveLink
o Extended ECM for SAP
- Knowledge of SAP content repositories and document linkage
- Expertise with integration for non-SAP applications (cloud & on-prem)
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments

• Customization & Development

- Hands-on experience with:
o OpenText OScript
o WebReports
o REST APIs / Web Services
- Working knowledge of:
o Java / JavaScript (for extensions)
• Security, Compliance & Gover
Desired Skills:
• OpenText Certification in Extended ECM for SAP.
• Experience with SAP RISE implementations.
• Experience with Brava! Viewer configuration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems architecture best practices

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $136,500 - $236,555. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
