Job Responsibilities
Description:The Financial Automation Solutions Team (FAST) provides support for Lockheed Martin Global Financial Services (GFS) who is responsible for providing financial and accounting support to various Lockheed Martin business area partners. This position's primary responsibility is to provide functional and technical support for FAST. Candidate will contribute to enhance and maintain various MS SQL databases, as well as troubleshoot and resolve database issues. This includes, resolving job failures, creating/modifying MS SQL scripts, and maintaining data integrity. Candidate is responsible for maintaining and improving various Access front end applications. Candidate will also identify process improvements and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. This includes analyzing data and presenting recommendations to various levels of leadership. Candidate will partner with peers across the organization and build strong relationships. You'll be thinking creatively to explore, identify, and leverage new technology and tools, you'll also be working independently in a supporting and diverse team environment. Specific database responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Provide daily reports to support existing databases
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database errors as needed
• Compile and provide Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Metrics reports
• Provide ad-hoc reports by querying various SQL databases
• Work directly with internal users to automate current process using Access, SSMS, SSIS, SAP Query, or any available tools
• Frequently monitor and validate data integrity
• Develop data integration, data warehouse, reporting, analytics, and visualization solutions using data visualization apps like Tableau
• Analyze SQL and VBA code, identify defects and more efficient coding, and make corrections or adjustments as needed
• Interface with stakeholders and team members to design report enhancements including adding new fields, calculated fields, and modifying how the data is displayed
• Maintain and update Access front end applications. You may perform other duties as required in a changing environment and there will be frequently shifting of deadlines and priorities as customer requirements change.
Basic Qualifications:
Familiarity with financial principles
Detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to work independently under limited direction in a supportive, diverse team environment
Proven effective analytical, research and problem solving skills
Demonstrated effective communication skills (written and verbal) as the selected candidate should be able to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences, including department leadership.
Advanced MS SQL: Complex query design, performance tuning, and data modeling in relational databases.
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services): Build, maintain, and optimize ETL packages for large‑scale data movement.
Git: Proficient with source‑control workflows, branching strategies, and pull‑request reviews.
WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation): Develop rich, responsive desktop UI using XAML and MVVM patterns.
C#/.NET: Strong object‑oriented programming skills; experience with .NET Core/Framework and common libraries.
Power Platform: Build and integrate Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards to extend business solutions.
Microsoft Office: Advanced skills, with specific emphasis on Excel and Access, including macros, VBA, modules and functions, and Power Query

Web Development Experience: Proven ability to build responsive, full‑stack web applications using modern front‑end frameworks (e.g., React/Angular/Vue), HTML5 / CSS3, ASP.NET Core/Web API, TypeScript/JavaScript, cloud deployment (Azure), secure authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and automated testing (unit & e2e).
Experience with SAP Query
ETL and data visualization experience – with a focus on Tableau and Alteryx
Experience with Data Virtualization

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
