As the HR Associate Manager for our Pinellas Park, Florida site, you will be the strategic HR leader supporting Operations, guiding both our people strategy and our HR team to deliver excellence, innovation, and proven results.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a leader on our Human Resources team, you will provide strategic and tactical HR support to our Aeronautics site in Pinellas Park, FL. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead, coach, and develop the HR team in Pinellas Park, ensuring exceptional recruitment, selection, training, performance management, and employee development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Operations leaders, partnering to align workforce capabilities, volume, and readiness with business goals while balancing labor costs and building future talent pipelines.
• Develop and execute workforce strategies aligned to the business forecast, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities to strengthen the organization.
• Drive change management efforts related to enterprise initiatives like 1LMX and One Aero, preparing the organization for new systems, processes, and ways of working.
• Champion site-specific initiatives including career fairs, community engagement, employee events, and audit participation.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver impactful, data-driven people solutions and ensure successful adoption within the client organization.
• Provide leaders and employees with coaching on people management, communication, conflict resolution, team dynamics, and organizational design while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Promote knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Operations HR team.
• Support a learning culture that embraces innovation, agility, and leadership development.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Broad knowledge of HR practices, processes, and regulations.
• Experience setting vision and direction, consulting with leadership, and partnering across stakeholders to deliver results.
• Experience managing employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Experience managing projects and initiatives, including developing project plans, stakeholder engagements, communication and outcome assessment, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess results.
• Experience coaching executives, leaders, and employees.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and conflict management skills.
• Demonstrated decision-making ability, business acumen, and executive communication skills.
• Basic financial acumen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
Desired Skills:
• Experience or an equivalent combination of post graduate education and experience, in human resources, preferably including staff management, labor relations, and supporting production operations/manufacturing employees and/or a manufacturing site.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics.
• Experience leading team with direct reports.
• Experience developing broad and coordinated strategic workforce management plans for overarching client organization, including identification of workforce gaps, opportunities, and methods to address near and long-term resource requirements.
• Demonstrated experience delivering results for the business in partnership with Human Resource’s Centers of Excellence, corresponding Human Resource’s Business Partners, and other organizations as needed.
• Demonstrated ability and experience facilitating groups to create solutions and resolve issues.
• Prior experience working in manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders using multiple methods based on context.
• Basic to moderate knowledge and experience with change management principles and methodology; preference for experience using Prosci methodology.
• Experience and familiarity with growth mindset, new ways of work, kanban tools like Microsoft Planner, and brainstorming tools like Microsoft Whiteboard.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
