Description:Position Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Test and Development Facility (TDF) Mission Assurance Center (TMAC) team, administers the ITW/AA and Legacy Space systems in support of the test environment air warning, missile warning and space defense missions.
-Performs day-to-day system administration procedures in support of coordinated test events. Completes daily proactive system checks on ITW/AA and Legacy Space assets to verify health and functionality.
-Makes configuration changes as directed to match operational baseline environment in support of tests or exercises. Diagnoses and troubleshoots enterprise system problems.
-Administers and supports daily environment startup/shutdown of Legacy Space systems.
-Serves as a help desk representative, interfacing with ITW/AA system users, testers, administrators and maintainers, opening trouble tickets when required.
-System administration duties include proactive/reactive system checks, real time troubleshooting, and anomaly reporting/resolution.
-TMAC Crew members are responsible for coordinating, performing, and documenting day-to-day system administration activities. Collect test data as needed/requested by test managers.
-Provides real time system recovery utilizing NISSC II provided processes and procedures.
-Provide ITW/AA and Legacy Space system technical recommendations and impact analysis to system users.
-Directly involved in the coordination and execution of system software upgrades, SCR implementation tasks, and local test/exercise support.
-Opens or closes the Test Development Facility daily, ensuring facility are locked/unlocked and alarms are activated/deactivated in accordance with Government regulations.
-Performs document control tasks, routinely inventorying controlled material into the TDF Library.
-Perform monitoring and management of SISP servers, networks, data feeds and customer requests.
-Support SISP users and other system administrators with the operation and installation of SISP, AWC and MCRS.
-In addition to the TDF, the TMAC crew may be expected to provide technical support to NISSC II supported systems at PAFB Bldg 2, Bldg 1470, Bldg 1471 and the NSDC (National Space Defense Center) at Schriever AFB.
-Support scheduled and unscheduled hardware and software maintenance.
-Perform scheduled recovery and backup system tasks.
-Responsible for the internal and external connections of various circuits and systems in the TDF through physical patch panels and SDIN (SPACECOM Digital Information Network).
-Duties include setup, troubleshooting, monitoring and coordinating connectivity with TDF systems located in building 1840 on Peterson AFB, as well as external agencies.
-Analyze communication system problems and work to resolution.
-Perform monthly rekey of cryptographic equipment and provide technical support to Test Supervisor during multi-system test environments. In addition
-Responsible for Sortie schedule oversight, management, administration, and dissemination.
-Coordinate with system leads, SMEs, and government representatives on repair actions/status.

Job requires shift work with the potential of extended hours and weekend support upon request. Standard shifts are 6am-2pm (Day) and 10am-6pm (Swing). Must be willing to work in a mixed Government and contractor environment and adhere to a program milestone schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must meet minimum certification requirement for DoD Directive 8570, “Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management”. This position requires a minimum certification associated with IAM Level I, which may be met with Security+ or higher. Candidate must possess a qualifying 8570 certification within 3 months of hire date. Initial certification expenses will not be covered by the program.

Ability to perform Windows (XP/2003/Windows 7/2008 R2) and UNIX system administration.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN network architecture, services, and functionality.
- Ability to support Windows multi-level Active Directory administration
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere Virtual Center Server to manage virtualized servers/client
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with military customs and courtesies desired.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Cisco switches
- Maintenance, Operation, and troubleshooting of WebLogic application webserver server
- Ability to understand and modify code in VBScript, Perl, and JavaScript.
- HP Blade Architecture and Enclosure administration
- Altiris and/or Symantec Management Console for server/client software deployment
- HP Operations Manager for system monitoring/management
- BEA Weblogic and Oracle database administration
- Cloning and Reimaging Windows and Solaris servers
- NetApp or other SAN storage systems
- Experience with Advanced Data Communication Control Procedures (ADCCP) Protocol
- IBM Time Sharing Option (TSO) and Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS) operating systems
- Experience with any of the following platforms/applications is desired: Weblogic, Oracle database administration, LINUX, Solaris, ESXi VMWare, Cisco and Juniper switch platforms, command line proficiency, NetApp, and VSphere Virtual Center Server.
