Senior Investigator

Description:Conducts thorough investigations into diverse allegations in accordance with Company policy and procedures.

Allegations of misconduct including, but not limited to, fraud, threatening behavior, computer misuse, theft, drug and alcohol issues.

Prepares comprehensive reports of investigation and case presentations.

Responsible for gathering relevant facts and data by conducting in-depth interviews, collecting documents, processes and analyzes various forms of evidence, or utilizing other investigative techniques.

Responsible for analyzing data and drawing conclusions supported by the facts.

Responsible for developing and applying appropriate concepts, technique, and standards related to investigations.

Responsible for serving as a consultant/liaison for the organization.

Interfaces with multiple internal and external customers, local, state, federal law enforcement and military agencies.

Stays current with changes in applicable internal policies, industry standards, regulations and laws.

Responsible for developing solutions to problems which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness.

Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions.

Performs all activities while advising the appropriate levels of management at the proper time during an investigation.

Performs as both an individual and a team contributor.

Experienced professional with a broad and diverse investigative background and must possess strong interviewing skills.

Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse professions and professional levels.

Responsible for developing investigation strategy, conduct thorough and prompt investigations involving a variety of allegations, and document the findings in written investigation reports in a logical and supported manner.

Must be willing and able to travel occasionally to other locations.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located in a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experienced investigative skills.

Experience with critical analysis/problem solving.

Microsoft Office.
Desired Skills:
Desired Qualifications: Computer literate and capable of using databases and spreadsheets as analytical and reporting tools.

The applicant must be team oriented and possess or demonstrate the ability to learn and execute crisis management, emergency planning and incident response strategies.

Experience supporting special programs, technical programs and operational/compliance issues.

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills to efficiently report and present results of investigations to appropriate discipline boards and managers.

Ability to address difficult situations that arise in interviews and be able to effectively defuse confrontational interview situations.

Experienced Investigator with prior law enforcement or military investigative experience.

Effective and proven verbal, computer, and written communication skills.

Should possess model ethical behavior and integrity and have a strong work ethic.
