Security Senior Manager, ISR

Description:Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics business, home of the Legendary Skunk Works, is looking for a security professional to become a key member of the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) - Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) department within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization in Palmdale, California.

This position will report directly to the ADP Security Director.

Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.

Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.

Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.

Responsible for day-to-day leadership, management, and direction of Program Security personnel who support ISR Portfolio Aero-wide, as well as multiple, highly classified derivative Special Access Programs.

Evaluates Program Security Guides and Government Directives (DoD SAP Manuals, other government directives, JSIG) in order to derive program specific reporting requirements to define program security attributes and thresholds in accordance with specific contracts, DD 254, and Program Security Directives issued by specific User Agencies.

Publishes Program Security reporting requirements (e.g., investigations, violations, incidents, classification determinations, inadvertent disclosures, foreign travel/contacts, Fraud Waste and Abuse, etc.).

In accordance with contractual Security requirements, defines program travel restrictions, testing and manufacturing Security constraints, establishes and conducts internal Security audits, inspection processes, and schedules (for prime, subcontractors, and consultants).

The candidate must have very strong interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

The candidate must thrive in a very fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced Special Access Program environment with multiple customers.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead and implement change in a collaborative, inclusive manner.

Must achieve "Satisfactory" or better for government mandated Security inspections, reviews, and evaluations.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (i.e., Special Program accesses).

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Special Access Program (SAP) Security.

Experience evaluating Program Security Guides and Government Directives such as the DoD SAP Manuals.

Security experience dealing with investigations, violations, incidents, classification determinations, inadvertent disclosures, and /or foreign travel/contacts, etc.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with special access programs. Ability to reach consensus among competing ideas and backgrounds and to find common ground to move initiatives forward in a timely manner.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills to keep senior leadership informed of all Security related activities within the ISR Portfolio Programs.

Must be able to build effective team and customer relationships through open and effective communications. Must have the ability to proactively shape horizontal thinking and processes
