The Work:

We're seeking a highly motivated, experienced Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aerospace and defense products through comprehensive testing and analysis. Leveraging your expertise in electronic circuits, you'll develop and execute test procedures, support hardware integration, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

You're a seasoned Test Engineer with a proven track record in aerospace and defense. With experience in automated test equipment and software, you thrive in dynamic manufacturing environments where precision and efficiency are paramount. Your ability to develop Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), manage test procedures, and troubleshoot issues demonstrates your commitment to excellence and your capacity to deliver results in high-stakes situations.

Please note this is mainly a first shift position. However, business needs will dictate occasional off-shift or alternate schedule to include weekend work
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Be experienced with testing LRUs/SRUs using various equipment such as environmental chambers, testers, vibe equipment, etc.
• Be able to interface with organizations outside Product Test to ensure technical performance, quality, cost and schedule
• Be experienced with evaluation/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
• Be experienced with Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) to manage documentation control
• Adherence to quality procedures within the Product Test organization
• Be experienced with providing accurate status to program office(s)
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
• Possess good communication skills with the ability to lead a team successfully
• US citizenship is required for this position
Desired Skills:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

• Knowledge of digital circuitry
• Knowledge of circuitry equipment: Oscilloscope, digital multimeter, high frequency measurements, testing, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, perform root cause analysis down to component level
• Experience processing/writing Program Trouble Reports (PTRs), generating Software Trouble Reports (STRs) and generating Quality Notifications (Qnotes)
• Working knowledge of Windows based PCs to include the not limited to the following: SAP, EPDM, LabView, JIRA and PM Compass
• Working knowledge of CRH AMC, ATP, B1B, and U2 AVP RMS Product line hardware
• Experience participating in RMS Operations Excellence Teams (OET)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
