This role will develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product supporting printed circuit board manufacturing. The candidate has experience with printed circuit board manufacturing. Must also have knowledge of equipment, assembly components and processes supporting printed circuit board fabrication. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical Degree, a BS degree in related field or equivalent experience

Have knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices.

Exhibit business professionalism and values.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.

An understanding of Statistics and practical application to a manufacturing environment

An understanding of audit techniques.

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Ability to travel
Desired Skills:
Master’s Degree in related discipline preferred

Chemical & Mechanical background with an understanding of electrical components and Circuit Card Assemblies

Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience

Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)

Strong familiarity with Production Operations

Familiarity with IPC-6012, 6013 and MIL-PRF-31032 (/1 thru /4, MIL-P-55110D & Amendments) specifications is a plus

Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment

Quality Engineering experience

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
