The Work
As a Mission Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, integration, and verification of mission, avionics, and communication systems. In this role, you will:
Lead and support system-level integration and test activities, ensuring seamless operation of subsystems within a complex aircraft development program.
Develop test plans, procedures, and scripts based on system requirements and interface specifications.
Conduct hardware/software integration, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve system anomalies.
Execute and support formal verification and validation (V&V) against customer and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with design, software, hardware, and specialty engineering teams to ensure a fully integrated and tested solution.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of experience or 3 years professional experience with a related Master's Degree.
• System Verification, integration & Test – test documentation and conduct, troubleshooting hardware/software
• Experience with Mission System architectures, avionics, and sensor subsystems.
• Experience with the design, integration and test of avionics systems and software operational programs.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (Hardware, software, Integration/Test)
• Requirements development and System Design – DOORS, ICD/IRD/IDD.
• Experience with Agile practices
• Ability to obtain DOD security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with technologies for Electronic Warfare, and Radar, and Link-16 subsystems and the development and integration into an avionics architecture.
• Experience building strong customer relationships
• Strong Systems Engineering Background
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical strategies and challenges into verbal and visual presentations to be shared with senior management and senior customers contacts
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence
• Expertise in government communication systems, and mission management/mission planning
• Current active secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
