The Work:
We are looking for an individual to act as the Classified Cyber Security Technologist to join our team’s efforts in supporting and defending classified networks. The chosen candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) related to the technology and tools in place and used by the Classified Cyber Security team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Duties include providing hands on technical assistance for complex systems/networks, cyber technology development/implementation, assessing threats/vulnerabilities, and supporting customer needs (meetings, calls, emails, demonstrations, etc.). An ideal and successful candidate for this position has proven experience working both independently and as part of a team, is an accomplished cyber security practitioner, is experienced in both the Collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) environments.
A successful candidate will work effectively throughout the Lockheed Martin organization. Additional duties and responsibilities of this role include:
• Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (i.e., Cloud Computing, DevSecOps, etc.).
• Planning, implementing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the program data, systems, and networks.
• Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
• Troubleshooting technical security and network problems.
• Leads system and/or network security breach response
• Participating in the change management process.
• Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate activities with the ISSM and IT lead to ensure systems are secure and technically ready for inspection.
• Identifying requirements for verification and validation, creates, understands, and updates system design and architecture.
• Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and programs.
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
Selected candidate will be subject to a Classified Cyber Security panel to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and skills.

In support of our US Marine Corps, US Navy, and US Air Force customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support.
On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of current Secret security clearance
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is
located at a facility that requires special access
• Possess a DoD 8570 IASAE Level-II
Certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate),
CSSLP)
• Experience identifying requirements and
requirement verification and validation
• Experience with creating, understanding, and
updating system designs and architecture
• Experience executing Security Hardening on
Windows Operating Systems based on approved
DISA STIGs and SRGs
• Experience implementing NIST SP 800-53
security controls
• Experience with developing, installing, and
operating Security monitoring solutions
• Experience with standard security and network
environment tools and applications (Splunk, ePO,
ACAS/Tenable.sc)
• Experience with SIPRNet or JWICS security
posture and architecture
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a
dynamic and demanding environment
• Team player – Effective at organizing and
motivating a diverse set of individuals to act as
“one” in the pursuit of common objectives.
Ability to build effective customer and partner
relationships
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrates experience with Full-Spectrum
Leadership skills necessary for Cybersecurity
personnel
• Experience in designing, developing, and
integrating classified computer systems and
networks in compliance with government
regulations
• Proven knowledge of DCSA Assessment and
Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint
Special Access Program Implementation Guide
(JSIG), or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
skills and ability to effectively interface with
numerous cognizant security agencies,
customers and senior leadership
• Experience with Splunk and the ability to write
queries, create dashboards, QMulos Products
• Knowledge of other security disciplines and
how they impact and interact with information
system security
• Experience with network design processes, to
include understanding of security objectives,
operational objectives, and risk mitigation
strategy for the information system
• Ability to juggle the demands of multiple
diverse customers while formulating & driving
security direction
• Recognized cloud proficiency (CSSP, AWS, CSA,
CompTIA Cloud+, CCSK, or others)
• Experience with complex operating systems
and networks such as data centers, and cloud
environments, cross-domain solutions, and NSA
Type 1/Commercial Solutions for Classified
(CSfC) encryption solutions
• Prior ISSM/ISSO experience while collaborating
with a team of ISSOs to satisfy requirements and
goals
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
