Systems Engineering team is looking for experienced, Data Fusion / Situational Awareness Systems Engineers to join our team. Activities and responsibilities will include interfacing with multiple engineering subject areas (hardware, software, and specialty engineering) as well as equipment suppliers, supporting requirements definition, developing software requirement specifications, developing and handling Data Fusion software product lines, and other design artifacts/activities for the successful integration of avionics subsystems onto government rotary wing aircraft contracts and programs.
Potential team members experienced with developing, integrating, and testing embedded software systems. Areas of engagement include systems and software development teams.
System engineering tasks may include: technical trade studies, requirements allocation and equipment interface definitions, system design, translation of customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, product line development, documentation review and update, equipment and software integration, lab regression testing, flight test support, analysis & documentation of problem trouble reports, written and verbal status of testing progress to the concurrent engineering team.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security clearance

Network / Avionics systems engineering experience, preferably working military programs

Familiarity or experience with IEEE 802 family LAN standards; particularly 802.3 Ethernet standard, including VLANs, multicast, and different media types, and awareness of emerging Time Sensitive Networking enhancements to 802.3

Familiarity or experience with TCP/IP networking protocols; particularly IP Multicast, IP Routing, and interactions between Ethernet, IP, and Software/Application

Ability to communicate on all levels both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers

Demonstrated technical or team leadership experience

Experience decomposing requirements, developing systems engineering work products, and integrating complex systems

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to work effectively in a team environment
