Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Datalink Engineer to support a development program. This engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of the system’s array assembly RF communication interface, with support from other varied skillsets across Software and Hardware engineering. This effort will also involve RF signal processing work associated with digital beamforming on transmit and receive as well as other varied algorithms supporting electronic self-protect features. Major tasks include requirements development, interface definition, waveform design and implementation, support to embedded software and firmware development and support to test activities both locally and potentially offsite. The ideal candidate will have experience in communications protocols, link analysis and optimization, signal processing, and RF hardware verification.
Basic Qualifications:
Must haves:

RF datalink development experience.

RF hardware experience: communications protocols, link analysis and optimization, signal processing, and RF hardware verification.

Experience with Design Assurance process.

Strong understanding of weapon datalinks systems and integration.

Demonstrated experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to support travel to supplier.

Active Secret Clearance.

US Citizen, no Dual Citizenships.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with RF comms simulation development and algorithm implementation into software and/or firmware.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
