We are seeking highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic individuals to help tackle the hardest challenges that come with digital transformation. We are looking for free-thinking, proactive, strong communicators dedicated to business process engineering to join and contribute significantly to the successful implementation and enablement of this journey for our team.

This position will be responsible for facilitating events related to our MFC digital transformation efforts, providing coordination and oversight of structured improvement activities, managing execution of actions resulting from those activities, and collaborating across boundaries to help drive change across processes and people.

Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives. MFC has five principal product categories that correspond to the vital capabilities it provides our warfighters and civilian customers in their defining moments. MFC pursues business in more than 50 countries with more than 50 product and service lines.
Basic Qualifications:
The following are required:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

- The ability to use your expert communication skills, both written and verbally to facilitate complex and technical knowledge to an audience of all levels, including executive staff.

-Experience working independently and prioritizing while multi-tasking

-Ability to facilitate group thinking/brainstorming efforts and manage the creation of action plans stemming from those efforts

-Ability to assume authority in any environment, across all levels of an organization

– Skilled in customer and leadership presentation with ability

– Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, demonstrated project management

– Ability to perform work in a virtual team environment to accomplish commitments.

-Strong Project Management experience skills within an agile environment

-Ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

– Ability to travel at a minimum of 25% to support emerging requirements
Desired Skills:
The following are desired:
– Familiar with LM structured policies, procedures and compliance requirements (i.e. command media and auditing requirements)

-Green belt/Black Belt Certified

-Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci or equiv)

-Design Thinking Trained

– Familiar with defining and applying Key Process Indicators/Measurements

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to execute process analysis and design (experience in use of commercial process tools such as Celonis, Star+, Mural)

– Knowledge of data analysis and modeling concepts, techniques and tools associated with process engineering

– Demonstrated experience with organization change techniques, user experience design, and persuasive communication.

– Experience building/adapting process architecture and its connection to the enterprise reference architecture
