Description:
You will be The Test Engineer Asc Manager. This position is the technical leadership role for the Production Test Engineering team that supports the Orlando Microelectronics Center (MEC) and Sensor Integration and Test Center(SITC).
What You Will Be Doing
This role includes managing a team of microelectronic and sensor system (RF, Laser, Electro-Optic, IR) production test engineers in support of and managing skilled electronics test specialists including training, troubleshooting, test, and design with focuses on improvements in yield, throughput, producibility, and repeatability. This role requires:
• Knowledge/experience with electronic circuits, automated test software, manufacturing processes, and the manufacturing test environment. Additionally, the ability to interpret test requirements, implement requirement-based test methodologies, and utilize statistical data analysis is required.
• A successful candidate will work to continually improve test execution and agility with automation, data analytics, and increased robustness of test equipment and processes. Additionally, they will lead and drive internal savings by implementing initiatives such as Yield Improvements, Cost Step-Downs, Process Improvements, Lean, and Manufacturing Technology enhancements.
• Duties include the recruitment, hiring, retaining, training and career development, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for the Test Engineering group.
• This position will support performance reviews and other HR tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, EET, Computer, Systems preferred) with 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, or equivalent.
-Strong working knowledge of electronic test equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and circuit analysis principles.
-Demonstrated ability to build organizational talent by driving talent acquisition and development, including the development and execution of cross-training plans.
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills are required including the
ability to deliver effective presentations to peers, management, and customers.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
-Experience leading a large team of skilled test specialists and engineers including coaching, mentorship, and training development
-Previous experience with automated test equipment support, development, and improvement(cost/throughput/yield) for Electro-Optic, Microelectronic and complete sensor assembly processes and equipment.
- Experience interfacing with program and functional leadership and engineering and related disciplines to ensure test methodologies are robust, repeatable, and relevant to qualifying the integrity of the manufacturing process.
-Strong knowledge of test documentation and processes. Including review and approval of complex test documents for a wide variety of products.
- The candidate should be able to lead and contribute technically to projects in a teaming environment and have the ability to investigate, transfer, and adapt processes, techniques, or methods to new applications. Including the ability to understand and remain engaged in assessing assembly trends, tooling, methods, systems, and equipment that will strengthen and expand competitive technological edge in production testing.
-The candidate should be familiar with Data Analytics and the ability to develop prescriptive test metrics through available tools.
- Lean/Six Sigma familiarity, SAP & MES knowledge, National Instruments or other relevant Test Automation software.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
