Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be a System Integration/Test Engineering Sr, leading a team developing, delivering, updating, and maintaining Tactical Emulation systems (simulators) for the Sensors & Global Sustainment (S&GS) LOB. Our team is responsible for providing representative tactical hardware in the loop for real-time image processing verification, and you will play a key role in providing technical coverage and leadership for the program.
What You Will Be Doing
As a System Integration/Test Engineering Sr, you will be responsible for leading a small multi-disciplined team to design, redesign, update, maintain, and perform configuration control for numerous Tactical Emulators (test sets) types and configurations. You will provide technical coverage for program status meetings, risk meetings, new proposal efforts, and various IPT meetings, and will be responsible for putting together MS Project schedules and providing status updates to the program, including budget status and impacts.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading a small multi-disciplined team to design, redesign, update, maintain, and perform configuration control for Tactical Emulators
• Providing technical coverage for program status meetings, risk meetings, new proposal efforts, and various IPT meetings
• Putting together MS Project schedules and providing status updates to the program, including budget status and impacts
• Providing direction, mentoring, oversight, and detailed review for the team of engineers
• Ensuring Product Development Processes (PDP) are followed, and providing continual feedback to assigned engineers
• Providing feedback for mid-year and end of year performance reviews
• Troubleshooting COTS hardware integrated with custom software packages
• Applying technical leadership experience to lead the team and drive results
• Utilizing experience in data communication protocols to inform design and development decisions
• Applying proficiency with test system design and development processes to ensure successful integration and testing
• Utilizing familiarity with test software design to inform development decisions
• Applying skills in Root Cause and Corrective Action to identify and resolve issues
• Utilizing proficiency with hardware and software configuration management process to ensure proper control and management of configurations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in troubleshooting, focused on COTS hardware integrated with custom software packages
• Technical leadership experience
• Experience in data communication protocols
• Proficient with test system design and development processes
• Familiarity with test software design
• Skilled in Root Cause and Corrective Action
• Proficient with hardware and software configuration management process
• Tracked record of successful Hardware/Software integration support
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming, C++ and/or C#
• Electronics working/troubleshooting knowledge in RF
• Familiarity with Linux OS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
