Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be the Sustainment Engineer for the Logistics & Sustainment Engineering (LSE) depot repair team. Our team keeps the Fixed Wing Sniper/LANTIRN depot test capability in lockstep with engineering configuration, delivering reliable system level troubleshooting, test equipment sustainment, and seamless engineering interface for LRUs and complete targeting systems.
What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:
• Diagnose hardware and signal level faults using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and specialty test gear.
• Perform system and LRU troubleshooting, execute Delta ATPs, and run checkout/validation tests on retrofits.
• Serve as the primary liaison for test capability alignment between depot staff and engineering.
• Review NORs, drawings, and engineering changes; assess impacts on test procedures and equipment.
• Develop, update, and maintain depot test procedures, Repair Forms (DRFs), and related documentation.
• Keep the Asset Management System (AMS) current with workflow status, removals/installs, and promise dates.
• Produce technical repair guidance and generate data driven status reports for senior management and program POCs.
• Create Bills of Estimate (BOEs) and Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) to support sustainment and new business initiatives.
• Coordinate troubleshooting, retrofits, and training activities with Orlando and Warner Robins depots.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer training and on site problem solving.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and chemicals in compliance with PPE requirements.
