Job Responsibilities
Description:You will operate as the Logistics Material Specialist for the Javelin LCCS team. Our team is responsible for sustaining the Javelin Post-Production Sustainment program coordinating supply chains, managing hardware movements, and ensuring all logistics activities align with the program schedule and mission critical goals. Our team drives end to end logistics for domestic and international contracts, ensuring the right parts, at the right time, at the right place — while safeguarding budget, schedule, and compliance.
What You Will Be Doing
As member of the sustainment/provisioning team you will be responsible for delivering seamless logistics support that keeps the program on track. You’ll act as the central hub for material and hardware flow, collaborate with depots and cross functional teams to help ensure program success.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage tracking of material consumption, supply metrics and availability.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound material shipments and field requests
• Support multiple contracts simultaneously, juggling priority changes and ensuring all deliverables meet schedule milestones.
• Assist project managers with logistics related risk identification, mitigation planning, and reporting.
• Assist in the generation of weekly charts, ensuring a consistent and concise message to the Javelin Project office.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or related technical discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience and working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, and Word.
• Able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level
• Experience with problem solving and process improvement skills.
Desired Skills:
• Possess skills to measure material flow, analyze data, and report status.
• Familiarity with engineering documents, bill or materials, and scheduling tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test/repair procedures
• Ability to understand policies and procedures for the control of Government Property
• Ability to interpret industry standards and military specifications
• Experience with planning/organizing activities
• Experience with Contractor Logistics Support contracts
• Experience with Obsolescence monitoring
• Knowledge and experience in material movement practices
• Familiarity with asset procurement processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with repair and sustainment operations.
• Familiarity to analyze repair and demand data and provide synopsis of health processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
