Job Responsibilities
Sustainment Engineer Asc/AFC P Dir/Orlando, FL

Description:Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training on system design and specifications. Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications. Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability.
Specific Job Description
The selected candidate will provide day to day support of Production & Development Integrated Logistics Support activities and perform duties related to those efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, manpower planning and tracking, variance analysis and reporting, budgeting and baselining activities, and quarterly EAC updates. Candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and approving repair and rework requirements by utilizing various tools and analysis techniques, ensuring contract and schedule are met. Individual will interface and collaborate cross-functionally with repair operations, repair depots, material management teams and various leadership or program management both internal and external to execute roles & responsibilities. Selected candidate will also support frequent presentations and briefings to senior leadership and external customers.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent work experience
-Excellent communication skills and Customer Service orientation
-Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word) and SAP Client Applications
-Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
-Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications to create purchase requirements and to extract data
-Ability to review data and statuses and derive trends
-Perform data compilation for trends analysis, graphical presentations, and reports generation are preferred.
-Ability to work in a cross functional IPT environment
-Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques.
-Ability to prepare and accomplish presentations
-Ability to read reports and interpret data
Desired Skills:
-CAM experience and/or certification
-Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment
-Finance background and business acumen
-Experience using MS Excel and SAP client applications
-Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
