Description:
You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Strategic Procurement & Supply Team. Our team drives the end‑to‑end acquisition of commercial‑off‑the‑shelf (COTS), performance‑specification, and highly tailored build‑to‑print subcontracts that power DoD, commercial, and international programs from concept through global sustainment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will lead a multifunctional subcontracting group, own cost, schedule, and technical performance risk, and act with full procurement delegation to negotiate, award, and manage complex subcontracts across multiple contract types.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Define and author subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, and develop clear evaluation criteria.
• Analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate price and technical provisions, and select or recommend the best subcontractors.
• Write complete subcontract packages, issue purchase orders, and execute supplier agreements within delegated authority.
• Administer awarded subcontracts, track performance against cost, schedule, and technical milestones, and manage required change actions.
• Lead cross functional teams to resolve technical and contractual issues and ensure compliance with DoD, commercial, and international regulations.
• Provide strategic input to program managers on risk mitigation, cost saving opportunities, and supplier performance improvements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3 + years of hands on subcontract/contract management on commercial, DoD, or international programs.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, commercial contract clauses, export control requirements, and international procurement regulations.
• Strong written and verbal skills; able to draft clear work statements, specifications, and contractual documents.
• Experience leading or participating in cross functional teams and influencing stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
• Proficiency with ERP/contract management systems (e.g., SAP, P2P) and the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to two time a month for supplier site visits, audits, and bid conferences.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
