Description:
You will be a Stockroom Assistant in the E&T department, responsible for managing the inventory of aerospace engineering components and supplies. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products and services, and as a Stockroom Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our stockroom operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Stockroom Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of components and engineering supplies. You will maintain accurate stock levels, order supplies as needed, and organize and optimize stock storage areas. You will also manage overstock, distribute controlled stock items, and maintain Engineering Drawing Bill of Materials (BOM) part kitting.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of components and engineering supplies
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Organizing and optimizing stock storage areas
• Managing overstock and distributing controlled stock items

• Operating a company vehicle to transport materials and equipment to local suppliers and various locations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Experience performing clerical activities
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite
- Experience performing purchasing requests and/or service contract activities
- Experience performing lean six sigma process improvement activities
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in supply/stockroom management or a related field
- Experience performing Inventory Management and audits
- Experience building Test Equipment electrical kits
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
