The IRST Domestic Development Senior Program Manager will report to the IRST Program Director and will lead development activities for all domestic programs/products. Development activities will include system design, product improvements, software upgrades, and platform expansion.

What You Will Be Doing
The IRST Domestic Development Senior Program Manager will be responsible for executing across the IRST Domestic Development Portfolio, including Legion Pod and Legion Pod Derivatives, IRST Block II Spiral Upgrades, New Pod Development and Design efforts, and Future Development Capture efforts. You will continue to strengthen our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) relationships with key customers including the USN and USAF/ANG. Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal management and external suppliers/customers through timely and accurate communications
• Lead and manage multi-functional teams across multiple sites, including suppliers, to meet overall program schedule, quality, and cost commitments
• Leading proposal efforts and support business expansion
• Driving a culture of effective issue resolution and root cause/corrective action
• Driving risk identification and mitigation strategies
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Support program initiatives in support of program talent development, 1LMX initiatives, OneLM culture, and other duties as assigned
• Domestic travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelors degree
• Successful prior experience in managing technical, cost, and schedule performance
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to include experience leading diverse teams in high profile environments
• Demonstrated ability to develop enduring relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management process
• Proven ability to interface with company leadership, and external customers at all levels
• Experience with the proposal process
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in engineering development
Desired Skills:
• Leadership of cross-functional team with scope >$100M
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written) and successful experience with executive level presentations
• Software development experience
• Familiarity with operating in classified work environments
• Knowledge of electro-optical sensor systems
• Experience in orders capture, proposal development, negotiations, and contract baselining/start up.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Formal Program Management training/certification
• Earned Value Management experience
• Demonstrated ability to build teams and develop talent
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
