Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for a position in the Orlando Operations centers (Sensors Integration and Test Center & Micro-electronics) to develop and maintain Systems & Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) Common Processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), and Customer Requirements.

This role requires interface with systems and software development personnel, test, quality engineering personnel, and project managers.

Must work well in a team environment, have excellent customer interface and presentation skills, have effective interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively. The candidate is expected to quickly come up to speed with the SSQE work scope, technical requirements, risks, and delivery milestone schedule. The SSQE responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Evaluate validation plans, process flow diagrams, test cases, and standard operating procedures

Review and approve systems, software and test equipment requirements, design and test documentation for compliance to requirements

Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance.

Interface with the engineering counterparts to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual and company test requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Technical engineering degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Experienced with audit techniques

Ability to interpret Schematic Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of Systems and Software QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics

Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design / Development, Product Integration and Test

Thorough understanding of software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex

Test Equipment development knowledge / skills:

Understanding of test protocols including identification and resolution of non-conformances / deviations

Analyze data to perform assessment of current qualification state of equipment

Effective Communication Skills - written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writing
Desired Skills:
Experience in the final assembly of electrical, optical, mechanical and software products

Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications in order to develop test and inspection methods, and translate into work instructions

Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics

Lean Six Sigma and / or green belt training

Microsoft Office products

Automotive industry experience
