Great opportunity to update and maintain a Control and Telemetry GUI, written in C++ using the Qt cross platform GUI development environment.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to utilize technical creativity by contributing to the development of home-grown data reduction tools (C++ templates) as well as adding a Qt front end for display purposes.

This opportunity is for a Software Engineering Lead to manage a team of Software and Systems Engineers to design, develop, test and verify an Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) software product. The IFS provides the capability to model a missile system from power on to terminal phase that accurately represents the system’s performance. Responsibilities include tasking, build planning, tracking and status of a team of software developers in the adaptation of the Operation Flight Program software into a simulation environment to provide a high level of fidelity. The team will be responsible for software requirements definition, design, code, test, integration and verification activities. It is desired that the Candidate be familiar with Agile software development techniques. The team will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software lifecycle. The Candidate will interact with Program Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and produce and maintain and integrated schedule. Also included is the generation of formal documentation in support of a deliverable IFS to the Customer.

It is required that the candidate have experience with the following tools/techniques/skills/certifications:
Secret clearance issued by DOD
C++
Visual Studio and/or Linux/Eclipse
Embedded
Agile software development techniques
Technical team leadership
Task planning, schedule development, task management
Software requirements definition, design, code, test, integration and verification activities
Generation of formal documentation
Desired Skills:
It is desired that the candidate have experience with the following tools/techniques/skills/certifications:
Adaption of Operational Flight Program (OFP) into Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS)
Qt
Information Assurance, Cyber Security
Code static analysis and remediation
Workbench/VxWorks
