Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for C++ coders who want to work on cutting edge national security programs. Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

MFC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded and application software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. It is desirable to has experience w/ both Windows Visual Studio & Linux based C/C++ development.

Candidates filling this position will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.

Software configuration management
Full software life-cycle development
Ability to successfully contribute to multi-disciplined teams

Gimbal line of sight control
GPS-aided inertial navigation
Guidance
Hardware and software integration
IR seeker image processing
Launch sequence and control
Linux OS

Operational Flight Program (OFP)
Real Time OS experience
Telemetry and data reduction tools
Universal Armament Interface (UAI)
Windows OS
