Description:Oversee execution of Configuration Data Management (CDM) activities for assigned Tactical Missiles programs. Manage CDM personnel in execution of duties necessary to analyze proposed changes of product design and determine effect on overall product and system. As an Engineering and Technology (E&T) Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the technical execution of multiple programs CDM efforts as well as management and development of the their team. In addition to supporting department initiatives, driving technical execution and affordability efforts, the candidate will be responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, continuous feedback and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.

-The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld.

Where can you get to from Orlando?
-Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center.
-Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando.
-West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance, with Current 5 year investigation.

Must have experience leading technical projects / personnel.

Experience implementing and conducting Configuration Management programs for multiple programs / customers.

Proven ability to execute multiple programs and phases of programs (proposal, development, test, production, sustainment).

CDM experience in support of the Department of Defense.

Experience and understanding of the principles and requirements for CDM (Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), Software Configuration Management (SCM), Product Audit and Reviews (PAR), Data Management).

Familiarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.

Able to review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Ability to ensure that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

Possess leadership skills and is able to interface effectively with senior management, customers and other external representatives.

Demonstrated Full-Spectrum Leadership skills necessary for leading configuration personnel.
Desired Skills:
Active Top Secret, with Current 5 year investigation.

Experience with CM of hardware/software.

Knowledge of and experience in the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering efforts of Tactical Missiles programs.

Experience with Product Data Management tools.

Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) development Systems Engineering requirements development and management experience.

Risk identification and management experience.

Develops solutions to assigned technical problems of limited scope which require ingenuity and innovation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse technical and business personnel.

Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and capable of creating status and tracking reports for management and customers.
