Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced professional to manage and lead the coordination and administrative Configuration and Data Management (CDM) activities on the F-35 Sensors Program in Orlando, FL.

These CDM activities include, but not limited to, configuration identification, control, reporting, and program deliverable products.

The CDM Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, interviews, selection and training, performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition.
-Oversee performance of configuration management/change board and release engineering tasks.
-Provide direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance. Review work from team members for completion and adequacy in meeting CDM objectives and goals.
-Interpret and execute policies and procedures that affect program CDM operation. Recommend modifications to operating policies.
-Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Complete assignments that would normally result in serious delays to assigned projects resulting in considerable expenditure of additional time, human resources, and funds.
-Ensure all proposed changes have been assessed for sustainment impact and assure that Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) are initiated, priced, submitted and approved for changes impacting the Sustainment of the F-35 EOTS Program.
-Ensure all Contractual Data Items are delivered on time.

-The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld.

Where can you get to from Orlando?
-Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center.
-Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando.
-West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

MFCE&T
Basic Qualifications:
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

Overall knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Configuration and Data Management as it pertains to Department of Defense programs.

Possess leadership skills and is able to interface effectively with senior management, customers and other external representatives.

Technical background to understand engineering and manufacturing drawings, requirements and changes.

General knowledge and understanding of depot operations and sustainment.

Demonstrated Full-Spectrum Leadership skills necessary for leading configuration personnel.

Experience in developing Configuration Management Plans, program directives and contractual documentation and create Basis of Estimates (BOE) for proposals as well as managing allocated budgets.

Experience in managing multiple projects and proposals in a dynamic, demanding environment.

Demonstrated an understanding that engineering or production changes can have a significant impact on the sustainment world.

Experience in preparing and submitting ECPs for sustainment activities.

Demonstrated the ability to work with all types of customers who may have different philosophy, approaches, methodologies, objectives/goals and priorities to achieve the end goal.
Desired Skills:
Develops solutions to assigned technical problems of limited scope which require ingenuity and innovation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse technical and business personnel.

Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and capable of creating status and tracking reports for management and customers.
