Description:
You will be the Security Representative Staff / CSSO for the Security Program Team. Our team is responsible for safeguarding classified and proprietary information across a $1 billion+ high‑tempo program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Security Representative Staff / CSSO you will be responsible for leading the Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security effort, shaping policy, and protecting critical assets.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, and administer SAP/SCI policies, procedures, and collateral security controls in compliance with NISPOM, DFARS, DoD 5205.07, and related directives.
- Lead a small security team, providing mentorship, training, and guidance on evolving security regulations.
- Design and deliver security education and training programs for SAP/SCI personnel and visitors.
- Investigate security incidents, draft corrective‑action reports, and drive preventive measures.
- Coordinate audits, support Staff Assistance Visits, and travel as needed to ensure compliance with USG performance supplier requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- In-Depth SAP Experience
- Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, as well as other directives and policies IAW the contract(s).
- The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations based on limited and/or conflicting information is also essential as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
- Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations (teaming), and analytical skills.
- Top Secret clearance with an investigation (or CV date) within 5 years.
- Limited travel required

- Experience with US Navy Special Access Programs.
- Experience with the SCI nomination process.
- Motivate, inspire, and grow Security Team Members.
- Build and maintain effective relationships both within and corporation, external customers and suppliers.
- Be self-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word.
- Experience using CNET, DISS, CORE, SAV, and JADE.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
