Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, FL. We are seeking a Requirements definition Systems Engineer (SE) to coordinate development of subsystem specifications, interface specification, and perform requirements verification planning and monitoring on a hypersonics missile program.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Update existing requirements, perform requirements allocation, develop and/or update interfaces, update system level architecture and update technology maturation plans.

- Support the SEIT lead in updates to Specifications, ICDs, and architecture.

- Support requirements verification and validation.

Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

-Candidate should be knowledgeable in the application of DOORS, and comfortable with developing System Requirements Analysis and Functional/Physical Architecture products.

-Strong critical thinking abilities and familiarity with aerospace product development processes.
Desired Skills:
-Experience performing analysis using MATLAB / Excel.
