Description:What You Will Be Doing

It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the F-35 Maintenance Systems (Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Operational Data-Integrated Network (ODIN)) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan ahead, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. It provides the Information & Technology (IT) backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.

Reporting to the F-35 ALIS Product Engineering & Sustainment Manager, the selected candidate will serve as a Technology Management Project Engineer within the Sustainment Integrated Tools & Engineering (SITE) organization. This position will support the sustainment of F-35 locations worldwide – both foreign and domestic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping manage the obsolescence, Technology Refresh efforts and inventory of all F-35 MxSys ALIS/ODIN hardware and software products across the enterprise. Consistent interaction and coordination with the customers, vendors, subcontracts, hardware engineering, software engineering and procurement will be required.

Responsibilities will also include supporting ALIS/ODIN upgrades, special projects and production deployments.

Able to obtain and maintain secret level clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret clearance
• Project Engineering experience, and demonstrated ability to engage with project leadership in a cross functional team environment
• Familiarity with sustainability, risk management, and/or project management
Desired Skills:
• Ability to collaborate and integrate high performance multi-functional teams
• Good verbal & written communication skills to different levels of the organization including external customers, and the ability to create presentation material for recurring meetings
• Detail orientated, flexible, and adaptable
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products
• Sustainment Engineering and Obsolescence Management Experience
• Knowledge of JSF F-35 Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS) system
• Self-starter who identifies problems, determines and acts on courses of action, and escalates to leadership when help, direction or approval needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
