Description:A high potential and high performing leader with relevant Program Management experience and demonstrated ability to collaborate pro-actively within diverse teams is needed to support program performance execution excellence. In this role the successful candidate will provide extensive support to the Tactical & Strike Missiles (T&SM) portfolio, which includes multiple development, production, and sustainment programs in support of customers worldwide. This is a critical Program Management position within Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Business Area (BA) which reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Performance for the T&SM LoB.

In this role, the candidate will both lead (where appropriate) support and coordinate a variety of independent business reviews within the LoB. These reviews constitute a critical aspect of the LM corporate-wide program performance strategy and provide a key program assist service to the LoB to ensure a high level of program performance. In discharging this set of responsibilities, the candidate will gain a great degree of exposure to the variety of products/services provided within the T&SM LoB and will communicate directly with leadership at all levels within the LoB, the BA, and at the Corporate level.

In addition to the above, the candidate will be expected to coordinate and provide ad hoc “program assist” support, when and where required. This support is likely to span the entire gamut of program execution, including but not limited to fundamental program management tasks such as program planning, risk/opportunity management, cost/schedule integration using EVMS techniques, and the effective use of metrics to monitor program performance throughout the entire program lifecycle. It is expected that the successful candidate in this role will partner with the LoB leadership team at all levels and work collaboratively to not only identify opportunities for improvement, but also actively lead the development and implementation of action plans to realize those opportunities.

Other duties in this role include the coordination of LoB Enhanced Program Reporting System (EPRS) reporting, as well as the leadership and coordination of several BA-wide Senior Vice President (SVP), Executive Vice President (EVP), and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) level reviews.

• Ability to work independently and objectively to assess program performance and risk of a wide variety of program types
Desired Skills:
• Program Management and/or Technical leadership experience on development programs
• Program Management and/or Technical leadership experience on production programs
• Subcontract Management experience
• Geographic location in Grand Prairie, TX
• Experience in coaching and mentoring others
• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin and Missiles and Fire Control business, and specifically T&SM
• Knowledge of/Experience with Corporate reporting and oversight processes, including EPRS, Program Reviews, and CPS-070, Program Management requirements
• Experience communicating with executive level management
• A demonstrated ability to recognize, predict and manage technical, quality and production risk.
