Description:Senior Analyst for Missiles and Fire Control Financial Accounting & Reporting function. Support managers with day-to-day operations and special projects related to the Business Area and Business Unit financial reporting. Performs basic and advanced accounting functions including compilation of financial information, journal entry processing, and the analysis of data. Reconciles accounts as required and resolves differences. Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Reviews supporting documentation to classify contracts for proper revenue recognition and reporting attributes. Provides financial information as required or requested to management. Leverages various software tools such as spreadsheets and databases to review or create supporting documentation for schedules and journal entries. Works with multiple disciplines to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely conversion of investment to cash.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in related discipline; Masters in Business Administration, Taxation, or Accounting degree;
Strong Excel skills;

Working knowledge of SAP ledgers and business processes;

Month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with multiple company codes and instances of SAP;

Experience with ledger conversions to SAP;

Experience with Orders, Sales, and Profit analysis and reporting;

CPA or CPA Candidate
