Manufacturing Engineer/ Production Engineer - EPL/ Orlando, FL

Description:The selected candidate will support the Engineering
Prototype Lab (EPL) in many ways, including but not
limited to:
*representing EPL to program and independent
research and development (IR&D) customers
*working as an IR&D project engineer and/or project
lead
*determining sequential process flow (machining,
plating, assembly, etc) and initiating its
implementation
*determining part assembly hardware needs from
drawing parts list and securing availability
*ensuring day to day integration and execution of
schedule commitments, cost commitments, and
performance objectives
*other tasks internal to EPL such as serving as
property management custodian and PMT alternate
lead.
Basic Qualifications:
* Related Bachelors or Masters degree required
*Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning &
Tolerancing (GD&T).
*Working knowledge of Pro-E/CATIA
*Demonstrated ability to lay out a fabrication plan for
a part by reviewing the part drawing/model.
*Proficient with Microsoft office products, especially
Word, Excel, Project, and Access.
*Demonstrated ability to multi-task
*Knowledge of CNC and conventional machine tools,
as well as cutting tools
*Strong communication skills
*Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of the following:
*CNC machining
*Small parts assembly
*Secondary processing (plating's)
*Estimating of machine parts
*Product Data Management (PDM) software and
revision control
