THE WORK
Located in Orlando, Florida, the Manufacturing Data Analyst will join the Production Operations team within our RMS division. In this role you will turn production data into actionable insights, drive continuous‑process improvement, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
Data collection & integration – Pull, clean, and consolidate production data from ERP, MES, shop‑floor sensors, and ancillary tools into a centralized analytics environment.
Schedule analytics – Analyze the production schedule, identify bottlenecks, and generate forecasts that help balance capacity, inventory, and delivery commitments.
Root‑cause analysis – Use statistical methods (e.g., regression, Pareto, control charts) to diagnose variances in on‑time delivery, scrap, rework, and labor utilization.
Reporting & visualization – Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) that provide real‑time visibility of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, OEE, lead‑time, and material availability.

Process‑performance modeling – Develop and maintain predictive models (e.g., demand‑driven MRP, capacity‑requirement planning) to support “what‑if” scenario planning for make‑buy decisions and BOM optimization.

Collaboration & communication – Partner with production supervisors, supply‑chain planners, quality engineers, and senior leadership to translate analytical findings into practical improvement actions.

Continuous‑improvement support – Contribute data‑driven insights to Lean/Kaizen initiatives, support KPI‑based scorecards, and help prioritize projects that yield the greatest ROI.

Tool stewardship – Serve as a subject‑matter expert for the ERP system and associated analytics tools; drive adoption of best‑practice data standards and governance.

WHO WE ARE
You will support a portfolio of work centers ranging in complexity, collaborating with a Production Control team of 50 seasoned professionals. Our group works closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, and program management to ensure seamless production flow and successful delivery of contracted projects.

WHO YOU ARE
You excel at turning large data sets into actionable insights, with strong experience extracting ERP data (SAP, Oracle) and visualizing it in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker using SQL, Python/R, and Excel. Familiar with manufacturing workflows—MRP, BOM, capacity planning—you will bridge data insights to production actions. You communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences, champion continuous‑improvement, and balance meticulous data quality with a strategic focus on business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERP tools such as SAP

- Previous advanced experience with Microsoft Excel

- Ability to extract, understand, and build graphs in Tableau
Desired Skills:
- Ability to communicate within the team structure and with partnering businesses.

- Ability to collaborate as a team member in a fast-paced production environment.

- Demonstrated effective communication skills within the business and with partnering businesses.

- Develops, and mines material data in resource planning tool for strategic material procurement and material availability in a production environment.

- Evident experience with extracting, analyzing, and manipulating data to drive decision making.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
