Description:This job entails identifying and resolving electromechanical technical issues and hardware/software integration. Responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, analyze data to identify failure trends and recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Responsibilities include:
• Author Integrated Logistics Support Plan
• Create field maintenance concepts for weapon system, develop a description of maintainer tasks associated with the equipment including: task number, task title, task frequency, detailed task sequence, support equipment required, tools required, job aids required, estimated task time, estimated personnel requirements, specific Human Engineering (HE) considerations which reflect HE requirements incorporated into the design, and critical task analysis
• Generate Common Built-In Test and Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) adapter hardware and software requirements
• Generate peculiar support equipment requirements
• Develop and maintain Life Cycle Cost model for the weapon system
• Recommend design improvements for maintainability
• Generate Explosive Ordnance Disposal Practical Simulation Trainer (PEST) requirements
• Generate Explosive Ordnance Disposal Classroom Simulation Trainer (CEST) requirements
• Support of coordination meetings and reviews with the customer
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense Final Secret clearance
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to make formal presentations to large groups and be able to interact well in a team atmosphere with engineers, subcontractors, program managers and customers during the investigation, documentation and resolution of system failures
• Effective analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy, be able to learn and work with Reliability-specific software tools
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 8+ years’ experience, or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired Skills:
• Self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little direction
• Strong computer skills
• Experienced with MS Office applications including a high level of proficiency with Excel
