Description:
You will be the Maintainability Engineering Sr. for the Air Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) – Increment 2 team. Our team is responsible for delivering world class Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability (RAMT) services that ensure the weapon system meets stringent performance and schedule goals throughout development and test.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Maintainability Engineering Sr., you will drive RAMT planning and execution for ARRW Increment 2. You’ll partner closely with design engineers, suppliers, program managers, and customers to embed reliability and testability into the hardware from concept through production.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop and validate reliability predictions for mechanical and electrical designs using WQS/Relex or approved methods.
• Lead Built In Test (BIT) strategy: analysis, implementation, and verification across the system.
• Conduct RAMT activities such as failure mode, effects, and criticality analyses (FMECA), HALT testing, and BIT demonstrations.
• Participate in detailed design sessions, technical interchange meetings, and program reviews, providing RAMT expertise.
• Review specifications, drawings, and Engineering Change Proposals; support Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to investigate, document, and resolve system failures.
• Support design reviews and test campaigns, ensuring RAMT requirements are met and risks are mitigated.

This position is in Orlando, FL.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college (preferably in an engineering focused discipline OR equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must have at least 5 years of professional / hands-on experience.
• Experience in Reliability and Maintainability of Tactical Missile Systems.
• Experience FRACAS and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
• Experience with performing reliability predictions.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management.
• Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the FMECA process including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics.
• Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
• Practical hands-on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
• System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing.
• Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
