We are looking for highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join and contribute significantly to the successful implementation and enablement of this journey for our Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Team (MFC).
This role is for a person nearing subject matter expert level professional performance in the area of IT Systems Administration and Engineering of technical projects; performing in this functional capacity over classified engineering networks and special test equipment in labs. Though you will not be a functional manager you will be expected to lead technical execution efforts and/or teams.
• System administration of heterogeneous networks including Windows 7/10, Windows Server based domains, and Linux distributions.
• Manage operating system cyber compliance, upgrades, and patching (Windows/Linux)
• Perform guidance and management for hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple architectures.
• Ensure the integrity and availability of applications as well as coordinate new application installations, upgrades, and customer support in classified areas.
• Responsible for implementing effective backup/recovery, resource accounting, and auditing procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on varied IT hardware (PCs, printers, laptops, etc.).
• Gathers system security design requirements with stakeholders and develops architecture.
• Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
• Full-time onsite role in Orlando, FL, working the majority of the day in closed areas.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to maintain a security clearance, and customers' acceptance
• Must possess or be able to obtain within 6 months of start date a valid IAT Level II or III DoD Approved 8140 (DoD 8570) certification such as Security+, in good standing
• Knowledge and experience with workstation administration of Microsoft Windows in an Active Directory environment
• Significant knowledge and experience with Linux distributions and environments; preferably with RedHat or CentOS as well as integrating with Windows Active Directory environments.
• Demonstrated experience effectively performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Experience developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships
• Ability to work through technical, project, operational, and resource challenges.
• Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability
• Demonstrated collaboration, including interpersonal and teaming skills
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (investigation within the past 5 years)
• Prefer Security+, CISSP, or other IAT Level II/III security certification
• Able to work with diverse stakeholders and communities to design and architect solutions; able to delegate roles and responsibilities across technical teams
• Experience building, operating, and maintaining secure operating system configurations as well as secure networks with demonstrated technical knowledge.
• Experience standing up, configuring, and maintaining Active Directory domains
• Experience building and/or working with hypervisors and in virtual environments, such as VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, etc.
• Scripting ability to support system administration activities and automation (Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience managing McAfee anti-virus updates on Windows and Linux/Unix; prefer EPO experience.
• Technical documentation creation and management; including designing, building, and documenting new environments from the ground-up
• Experience developing and maintaining Windows or Linux baselines, including security settings and hardening
• Intuitive thinker that can contrive and implement new solutions to technical problems
• Knowledge and experience implementing technical requirements on multiple operating systems for NISPOM Chapter-8, JAFAN, JSIG, DoD RMF, and other protection level caveats
• Experience with SSSD and Active Directory, LDAP, or IDM/FreeIPA Integration
• Understanding of routing/switching networking concepts
• Understanding of NAS/SAN/PFS storage systems and related networking
• Prefer experience working in Linux Environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SuSE, etc)
• Familiarity with engineering software and license mechanisms, particularly FlexLM
• Understanding of Multi-Level Security (MLS) or Multi-Category Security (MCS) solutions
• Understanding of containers and orchestration, especially in virtualized applications using Singularity, Docker, Shifter, Kubernetes etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
