Description:This position is for an associate manager within Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise IT Analytics & Information Mgt (AEIM) directorate supporting the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Information Technology (IT) Applications organization. Components currently include Oracle, SQL Server, SAP Business Objects and HANA, SLT and Data Services, with more to be added (e.g., Hadoop) as analytics capabilities increase and mature.

The work location can be any major Lockheed Martin facility; full-time telecommuters will also be considered.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Oversee deployment, administration and maintenance efforts, including responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality.
- Grow team to meet demand from the multiple programs and to support RMS IT Analytics portfolio growth.
- Manage RMS IT Analytics employees who focus in the areas of enterprise information management and data analytics. Mentor and coach assigned employees to help them perform with excellence and achieve their full potential. Complete full lifecycle employee management tasks (hiring, performance management, merit planning, promotions, etc.).
- Contribute to RMS IT Analytics and Enterprise IT Analytics & Information Management strategies; implement the tactical aspects of these strategies and manage the sustainment of resulting programs.

Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with business stakeholders to develop and deploy data analytics and/or information management solutions and leading teams to manage these solutions
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement technical and/or business strategy in the areas of data analytics and information management
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills including one or more of the following: people management, program management, project management, or team leadership
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to convey objectives and results to senior IT and business leaders in a clear and concise manner; ability to explain complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms
Desired Skills:
- Experience leading a diverse team with multiple components across geographic locations
- Demonstrated ability to perform and multi-task in a fast-paced environment including the management of service queues to include prioritization in support of SLAs
- Experience with Software Lifecycle Development and related best practices including peer review and baseline management
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across both Information Technology and Business Functional organizations.
- Experience in implementation, upgrade, migration, and/or retirement of analytics platforms, including collaboration with Infrastructure and IT Security organizations
- Experience managing IT operations and administration teams
- Experience with incident management processes and tools (e.g., Service Now)
