Integration and Test Staff Engineer

Description:Full development (requirements analysis, preliminary and detailed designs, integration, test, validation) for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems using LM-CORE, LM-STAR, and/or eCASS. Analyzes testing requirements to develop test programs that meet technical and contract requirements for analog, digital, RF, and EO components. Coordinates hardware and software solutions with other functional areas (HW, SW, Systems, Operations). Works with program manages and project engineers to develop solutions for various military and internal customers. Develops fault detection and isolation methodologies for specific units under test. Develops and validates performance and diagnostic tests. Documents test strategies, test accuracy ratios, and fault accountability matrixes. Works in a team environment with individual responsibilities. Able to work a flexible work schedule during integration and test phase of development. Able to lead small teams to accomplish program goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Undergraduate engineering degree
- Automatic test experience
- Considered subject matter expert or technical lead in electronics test or related area
- Competent in writing test code/scripts
- Competent in developing hardware designs to interface with units under test
- Electro-Optic and/or Radio Frequency test experience
Desired Skills:
- Self-starter who likes to work a variety of technical issues
- Strong electronics background
- Strong test language coding background (ATLAS, TestStand, CVI/LabWindows, LabVIEW,C/C++)
- Adept at seeing multiple ways to solve problems
- Has a process-oriented approach to product development
- Proposal experience
- Customer interface experience for product demonstrations and customer support
- Cost Account Management experience
- Teradyne digital test programming
