Assignment: This position is for an Expat that will support operations in Cheongju, Korea. As an IT/Sys Admin you will support the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 training system devices in the training center. This is long-term deployment to Cheongju, Korea.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting computer applications, as well as setting up and monitoring training computer networks. He/she will perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, and training tasks to ensure the training computer network meets system requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives and will have experience working in an environment that requires interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel with different backgrounds and expertise.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as the on-site technical point of contact interfacing daily with users, local stakeholders, and customer leadership.
• System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring.
• Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multiuser computer systems through coordination with peers, customers, and engineers.
• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of system installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities for training systems.
• Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance.
• Training IT administrators and users on the academic training systems as needed.
• Supporting and coordinating verification and validation of installations and modifications to systems.
• Acquiring and submitting metrics for review, documenting system anomalies, and forwarding relevant data to appropriate organizations for analysis and resolution.
• Collaborating with other organizations to improve operational performance and configuring systems to operate within approved guidelines.
• Interfacing directly with customers and personnel to resolve “break/fix” issues, establish approved access to resources, and ensure system services are available to support daily academic operations.
• Ensuring compliance with all approved procedures and guidelines.
This is not a telecommute position.
The selected applicant may be required to work at deployed locations, work rotating shifts, and work more than 40 hours per week.

F-35 Fast Facts
Basic Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation date within the last 5 years and be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• Systems administration experience with activities in Windows Server 2019, Windows 10 administration, domain services, networking, antivirus, and application control.
• Experience representing the organization in customer-facing technical discussions, including articulating risks, tradeoffs, and recommended solutions.
• Virtualization Technology with strong experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, VMware Horizon.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, serving as a senior escalation point and providing guidance on complex system issues across multiple domains.
• Experience in troubleshooting showcasing the proven ability to troubleshoot complex information systems and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Flexibility in work hours with the requirement to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work.
• Proven ability to take ownership of systems or environments, including responsibility for stability, sustainment planning, and long-term technical health.
• Security+ Certification requiring possession of a current certification or the ability to obtain it within 2 months from the date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers is preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading technical efforts with prior customers, including resolving complex issues, and delivering sustained operational support.
• Ability to lead and mentor other team members.
• Experience preparing and delivering formal technical briefings, status updates, and system overviews to customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Web applications and web server experience involving practical experience in deploying and managing web applications and web servers.
• Experience with technical project management activities, including project planning, execution coordination, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with F-35 Training Management System and Learning Management System indicating familiarity with these specific systems, which is highly beneficial for effective role performance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
