This position will be supporting F-35 Training Operations at Skrydstrup AB, Denmark.
The Data Base Generating Systems (DBGS) team is a subset of the Training Device Engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and integrating multispectral simulation databases (MSDB) for use in Full Mission Simulators. The team's scope includes Terrain and Entity Modeler responsibilities.
To accomplish this, the team utilizes the following software modeling tools to build and modify gaming areas, moving models, environmental characteristics, and visual effects based on evolving training operational requirements:

The team's responsibilities include assisting in defining, developing, configuring, and supporting computer applications. This involves installing, setting up, and monitoring the training computer network, as well as performing various maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure the network meets system requirements. Additionally, the team investigates problem reports, identifies the source of the problem, and implements provided solutions.
Other responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining personal computers, networks, workstations, file servers, fiber, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems. The team also installs and upgrades software applications, troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and operational difficulties, and maintains host security, including firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery, file system integrity, and user management.
The team follows company and vendor standards for maintenance programs and performs additional duties and related responsibilities as required. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team at Skrydstrup to fulfill F-35 training objectives and implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an environment that requires interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
Deployment and continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the OJT required at Lockheed Martin’s training locations prior to international assignment.
This is not a telecommute position.
The selected applicant selected may be required to work at deployed locations, work rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40 hours per week.

Basic Qualifications:
• Secret Security clearance required with reinvestigation within 5 years.
• Must have performed a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: Personal computer applications training to include systems administration experience with Windows Server 2012 or newer, Windows7, Active Directory administration, terminal services, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and MS Office Suites, data control and scheduling coordination, data security administration, and associated fields.
• Must be able to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work.
• Must be able to complete Security + Certification within 3 months after start date.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
Desired Skills:
• Security + Certification.
• Microsoft Certified System Administrator, Firewall and Data Base experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• F-35 Training Management System and Learning Management System experience.
• Experience with geospatial imaging, 3D modelling, source data acquisition and processing and real-time visual & sensor simulation recommended.
• Competency with multispectral database development tools listed above is entry criteria for successful DBGS Instructing.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
