Industrial Development Country Manager - Canada

Description:Responsible for establishing program industrial development strategies, capture requirements and VP/ITB programs in Canada for the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area. Well developed capability related to capture, program management, business acumen and contracts will be required.

Individual will also be responsible for all corporate industrial participation financial and program reporting for RMS Canada programs, and for financial analytics required to support business cases for Canada VP/ITB plans and strategies.

Thorough knowledge of evolving VP/ITB trends, requirements and processes in Canada is a must. As VP/ITB strategies require substantial partnership with Canada industry, existing industry relationships or the ability to quickly emerge themselves in Canada to develop industry relationships is critical to success.

This role will be expected to work closely with extended program and capture teams, along with industrial participation and supply chain teams, as well as other functional and subject matter experts, to support industrial development efforts in Canada. This individual will sit on the Canada industrial development integrated country team, representing RMS, and be expected to coordinate with counterparts across all business area for industrial activities in Canada.

Responsible for industrial development contract terms and condition to ensure there is alignment with corporate policies, and that T&C positions are sound and consistent across programs within the business area, and as well as with the other Lockheed Martin business areas to ensure the enterprise has standard positions. Demonstrated negotiation ability a must.

Support and lead other unique projects as required for the improvement of capability and efficiency within the line of business.
Basic Qualifications:
- Established industry knowledge and relationships in Canada.
- Critical thinking, problem solving and cultural sensitivity/perspective/norms a must.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
- Strong financial, analytics and business acumen, with risk analysis/management experience.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the United States and Canada is required.
- Diverse business and/or program background including a level of familiarity with project and program management principles.
- Contract administration.
- Self-starter, highly motivated and strong ability to work independently once assignments are communicated.
- Experience working in an international business environment.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and multitask in a fast paced environment, along with solid interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with functional, and RMS LOB business leaders.
Desired Skills:
- Fluent in oral and written French.
- Experience working with finance and programs, with some level of knowledge of international offset and industrial participation.
- Experience working international programs.
- PC application, Share Point and database experience.
- International experience having worked directly with personnel from a variety of cultures.
- Experience working with capture teams with support to business development and program teams in support of program execution.
- Program and/or project management skills and experience.
- Some familiarity of financial reporting, forecasting and revenue recognition, specifically ASC 606. EVMS a plus.
- Exhibited skills and knowledge of the principles of Join the Journey and Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives.
- Demonstrated drive for execution excellence in meeting objectives.
