Description:

You will be the Independent Cost Analyst Sft, supporting the Independent Cost Evaluation (ICE) of assigned contracts during both Proposals and CSRs. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional cost analysis and evaluation expertise to drive business growth and success.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Independent Cost Analyst Sft, you will be responsible for constructing predictive financial models to forecast the technical, schedule, and performance cost risk associated with Missiles and Fire Control development and production programs.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Constructing predictive financial models to forecast cost risk and developing independent cost assessments for proposals and CSRs
• Researching, analyzing, and reviewing databases, hardware descriptions, Statements of Work, supplier quotations, Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), integrated master schedules, technical data, and other elements to support cost evaluation activities
• Coordinating and communicating with all aspects of the business, including Program Management, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Finance, and executive management during the ICE reconciliation process
• Determining program cost and risk drivers and opportunities, their effect on profit sensitivities, and the probability of meeting internal company and corporate financial commitments in support of the Long Range Plan (LRP)
• Supporting the Corporate ICE Director during functional corporate reviews and corporate data requests
• Supporting all audit programs, both internal and external, to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Examining and developing new ICE metrics and CERs to apply to subsequent projects and improving the overall cost evaluation process

Basic Qualifications:
Typical educational background should consist of
a bachelor’s degree in one of the following
related fields: Engineering, Math, Finance,
Statistics or Business Management.

Applicant must possess the ability to work under
tight deadlines with a minimal amount of
supervision. Applicant should also have
experience presenting analytical financial data
and business case conclusions to senior
management.

Experience with Proposals and Estimating is required.
Desired Skills:
Strategic planning experience to support business case and business development growth initiatives

Ability to determine Sim To program comparisons from RFP documents or customer solicitations and to match the ICE assignment

Experience with database tools and design

Experience with developing cost/risk spreadsheet
models

Experience with the Quarterly CSR and development proposal processes

Familiarity with different contract types, terms and conditions (FFP, FPI, CP, etc.)

LM data systems (SAP, EFS, COBRA, etc.)

LM pricing/finance/accounting
systems/processes

1LMX Rate structure / 1LMX Disclosure Statement/ 1LMX Translation process (BRCs, ADLRs)

Earned value/financial metrics

Learning Curve theory/Manufacturing Performance Standards Earned/ Standards Remaining, Build-Rate adjustment methods

Material Estimating/ Cost Analysis processes

Decision sciences, statistical regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation tools or other forecasting methods
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
