This role is responsible for the development, coordination and sustainment of the short range (3 year) and long term (10 year) facilities strategic plans that are required to meet all business objectives and to maximize efficiency and optimization of the MFC enterprise footprint. This role will identify, integrate, master plan and track all significant and critical facilities requirements to fully execute the MFC business across its enterprise. This role will investigate industry trends and initiatives to develop MFC “next generation” workplace strategies that include high efficiency, high productive, agile and affordable work places / spaces. In addition, this position will also develop, manage, publish and maintain the Facilities Strategic Plan, the Facilities Operating Plan and the annual enterprise footprint assessment with long term MFC infrastructure plans. The position will develop and maintain facilities performance-based metrics and will monitor and assess MFC facilities benchmark data against LMC and industry averages. Also, this role will update and maintain the departmental process required to ensure all MFC facilities command media is current, accurate and inclusive of the department’s operations and objectives

This role will provide oversight to expense budgets applicable to all pools of facilities costs to include both Dallas and Orlando. It will also manage the planning of the MFC facilities capital budget and track the authorization and spend of the plans. All Facilities enterprise metric development, reporting and sustainment including digital media is also the responsibility of this role.

This role will also be responsible for managing the MFC real estate process to include acquisition and disposition of all owned and lease properties. Leadership and oversite of the MFC Business Continuity plan as part of the MFC Business Resiliency plan is also a responsibility of this position.
Basic Qualifications:
BS Degree required, preferably in engineering or technology but all majors will be considered
Proven and excelling facilities management & strategic planning skills.
Proven and excelling real estate and lease management skills.
Proven and excelling cost control and budgeting skills.
Proven and excelling communication, negotiation & decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and accountability.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a large geographical facilities portfolio.
Driven to perform and deliver results with superior customer service.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and oversee complex facilities projects and initiatives.
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Master’s degree in related field
Proficient in CAD
